‘Women & Science in Africa: A Silent Revolution’ explores how African women are impacting science and innovation on the continent.

On Wednesday, March 11th, 2020, the Mawazo Institute, in partnership with the L’Oréal Foundation, will be screening Women & Science in Africa: A Silent Revolution, a documentary which explores how African women are impacting science and innovation on the continent.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with leading Kenyan women scientists working in a diverse range of scientific fields and moderated by Mawazo CEO Dr. Rose M. Mutiso.
The event will run from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wangari Maathai Auditorium, Alliance Française, Nairobi, Kenya with the following schedule:

  • 6:00 pm: Doors Open
  • 6:30 pm: Documentary Screening
  • 7:30 pm: Panel Discussion
  • 8:30 pm: Cocktail Hour; La Belle Epoque Restaurant (screening ticket required for entry)
